It did not take long for the Tennessee Titans to find a replacement for backup signal caller Matt Cassel. Jim Wyatt from Titans Online broke the news early Tuesday, March 27 that Blaine Gabbert is now a Titan. NFL Network and insider Ian Rapoport also reported on twitter that the Titans agreed to terms with Blaine Gabbert. Rapoport reported that the Titans and Gabbert reached a late night agreement the night before.

Gabbert was the 10th pick of the 2011 NFL draft out of Missouri. He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Gabbert was a Jaguar from 2011-2013. He was with the San Francisco 49ers from 2014-2016. He was with the Arizona Cardinals in 2017.

In 2017, Gabbert threw for 1,086 yards to go along with six touchdowns and six interceptions.

For his career he has completed 55.9 percent of his throws. He has thrown for 8,437 yards. He has 44 career touchdowns and 43 interceptions.
