On the morning of April 30 the Tennessee Titans cut ties with three players on the roster. The players dropped were signal caller Alex Tanney, tailback Khalfani Muhammad and defensive lineman Johnny Maxey.

For his career Tanney is 10-14 and 99 yards to go with one touchdown thrown. Tanney has played in one regular season game. Tanney played for Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois.

Johnny Maxey has seen very limited time on the field. He has played in two games in his NFL career. Maxey played for Mars Hill University in North Carolina.

Khalfani Muhammad played his college ball for the the California Bears. He rushed for 2,073 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns at Cal. He had 571 career receiving yards to go along with three receiving touchdowns.

Muhammad was the 23rd pick in the 7th round of the 2017 NFL draft.
