The Titans may be making space for a defensive line acquisition. The day after defensive lineman Karl Klug was released from the franchise, fellow defensive lineman Sylvester Williams was released from the Titans. Williams has played defensive tackle and the nose tackle spot during his five year career.

Williams was the 28th pick in the first round of the NFL draft for the Denver Broncos. Williams spent four years with the Broncos and spent his most recent season in 2017 for the Titans.
