On May 6 news broke that long time Tennessee Titan Michael Griffin would be ending his NFL playing days as a Titan.

Griffin Started his playing career as a Tennessee Titan back in 2007. Griffin played with the Titans from his rookie year in 2007 all the way through the 2015 NFL season. Griffin was with the Carolina Panthers for a short stint after that. Griffin was only with the Panthers for the 2016 campaign. Everything is now coming full circle for Griffin as he ends his legacy as a Titan.

For his career, Griffin has 803 combined tackles on defense, seven sacks, 11 forced fumbles and 25 interceptions. In terms of tackles, his best season was in 2014 where he accumulated 112 combined tackles. In 2010 he had four picks and in 2012 he also had four picks. In 2008 he had a career high seven interceptions. With the Panthers in 2016 Griffin tallied 40 combined tackles. 27 of those tackles were solo and 13 were assisted.
